Nendaz is part of the ski area of the Quatre Vallee with over 410 kilometers of piste. Bus transport is free (except for Sion), and runs very regularly, so no long waiting times. In the village there is an ice rink and in the slightly higher Siviez a beautiful trail. In summer, hiking along the many Bisses (streams) is very fun, and do not forget mountain biking, tennis and the beautiful swimming pool overlooking the Rhone valley. Mountain biking is one of the top activities you can do in 4 Vallees. There are hundreds of kilometers of road-driven trails. One of the most famous trails is the "Tour de Montfort". It is 50km long drive from Nendaz, Verbier, La Tsoumaz and back to Nendaz.
